Black Mesa Research Facility ARG?

sorry I’m kinda lost, where did this all come from, what is it, and what if anything does it have to do with the mod?

Ok, so it seems Narthorn has solved the Field Studies Remote Access Gateway riddle.

Anyone know if that aperture flash does anything? https://blackmesaresearchfacility.com/forms/daisy_bell.html

Also, what about that Engle dude from White Sands?

[edit]

Check page 7. And it has nothing to do with the mod.

I think Zageron has nailed it

So this is presumably a message from some resistance fighters in the future, when the combine are running the world. They are trying to broadcast back through time to before the resonance cascade happened, with the warning and the intention of stopping it.

Their records show that it occured on the 25th of this month (July), so as this all started with the incident at the beginning of half life, does this mean we have a release date?!

crosses fingers!

If i’m wrong, I’ll have to go back to watching Doctor Who for my time travel fix

probably

The video was uploaded “6 months ago: Thu, Dec 31, 2009 9: 33pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)”

It is HIGHLY unlikely it has anything to do with the mod

Ahh well spotted Johnyo.

25th of “this” month would then put it as Christmas day, is there any correlation to this:
https://www.aperturescience.com/

Since aperturescience.com is Valve’s and this BMI:ARG isn’t, it probably can’t be anything more than a reference.

Also, what time would the upload be in New Mexico? freakin’ timezones…

Was going to make a summary but didn’t want to have to find all the links.

This explains a bit https://trevorbrennan.com/bmiarg.html

Hi, I think “employee.jpg” (from there main page) has hidden text in it.
Use the app “jphide” to recover it.
I found this whit “stegdetect”

stegdetect makes no sense to me. Might just be coincidence.

It also ruins it all :frowning:

:frowning:

Monthly loop? Does that mean we could get more info during this month? 25th could be the end or culmination of the game.

Iam Sure This Game IS COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooool
I VOVE VALVe Games.

I’ve just seen the website’s code, and the binary code: 0101001101101001011011010111010101101100011000010111010001101001011011110110111000100000011001000110000101110100011000010010000001100110011011110111001000100000011100110111000001100101011000

means this

Simulation data for spe

You could try actually reading this thread first - we’ve long established all 4 parts of that binary code

Well shit

Upon looking really close I found some cars there:

I think they are cars and cabins anyway.

Then 2 more things I’m not sure what the are, the area itself, the circles anyway are roads, and around the road there are these black things as seen here:

Which could be bunkers or testing ranges, not sure.
The road to get out stretches for miles between mountains before you actually get somewhere where a lot of people live.

No idea what these are, in the middle of the circle:

I know it’s got nothing to do with the mod, but it has been well put together and planned, whatever it is.

EDIT

On Google Earth, we actually get a different location, on Google Maps, using the Earth Plugin, we get what we see in those images. Strange.

The one in Google Earth is an abandoned runway by the looks of it. Maps doesn’t take us to the Runway, which is peculiar.

The coordinates: 33.18441,-106.574678 As entered in Google Maps gives us this location:

But in Google Earth, we get this:

OK, what the shit.

Google Maps gives me a green arrow pointing directly at the north end of that runway.
edit:
bugger sorry, you were referring to the coords in that link

If you used coordinates from the video, the pointer will show north-west end of the runway.
If you used coordinates from the abovetopsecret website, it will point at the center of the runway.
If you typed “White Sands Missile Complex”, it will point to the circles… thing.

The pointer is green arrow in Google Maps and a crosshair in Google Earth.

July 25! :fffuuu:

Read the FAQ!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
