They are being recreated, but by separate teams.

Seriously, the Gearbox expansions sucked! Opposing Force was decent, but Blue Shit made brown shit looked like gold! So why remake these abominations of an otherwise fantastic game series?

That doesn’t mean anything. He could have just found the mod, saw how epic it is, and wondered if the team would use their resources to remake these other games he likes.
