Fix’d and Fixed have the same amount of characters. One is a word… Why does fix’d sound so much cooler, and awesome-r (rhymes with gossamer), even though I’m pretty sure they both sound the same…

I’m pondering this whole ‘tongue-cutting’ business… it would mean all of a sudden, being a politician would take balls and a life-encompassing passion… or hunger for power at the expense of your tongue… either way… the new crowd would be a decisive lot.
