Sorry, I am new here, so I didn’t notice. I just replayed Blue Shift and Opposing Force because my nostalgia, woken up by this amazing project, drove me to reinstall the old games. Thanks for the information!

Just found this thread, startled at how others are manipulating my old thread to make some quasi-team deathmatch out of my excellent idea. It would be STOOPID for the scientists to have weapons, but the trap system was an excellent idea. Tell you what: I’ll make a prototype map of one of my ideas for the mode on HL2: DM and show you all what I mean.

I dunno if it was already said but; why bother? just copy and paste everything into an folder of itself… pretty soon some modders will make the weapos availible too!

All of which will be contrary to the express wishes of the mod team, who don’t want their work used in other mods - GMod included. But why should we care what they want, right? Not like we owe them anything.

As for people using the files…I am sure the mod team has some way of stopping attempts…besides legal action. Besides, no one else will be able to do anything near as awesome as what they have done :slight_smile:
