Do you install the Joint Ops mod, then this, or can it work on its own?

I haven’t installed it yet, but by the description, I think it’s an either/or situation.

By the way, the mod’s been updated to v1.2

If I have the joint ops mod, and I already have the Army Skins in addition to the marine skins, do you think this might screw that up a bit? Also, I am unclear as to the improvements on the HECU.
