Minecraft is one of the most terribly coded games on the planet. Each block uses a point in memory to store itself… this is just a bad idea.
The faster your computer, the more RAM is eats up because minecraft is able to render more on the screen.

i’ll join in once i get to buy minecraft.
Cam you’ll have 25 in there when i get back from Britt’s.
So how else should it be done? Read the render queue directly off the hard drive D:
Couldn’t you lump same type blocks into larger chunks? I don’t really know, but it seems doable.
I’d play on it but I’d feel like an ass because I know I am not going to donate. I am a broke ass mofo.
Sure, I’ll play.
When I get home you will see a pretty penny in there.
Can’t I give you less than 20$?
like 10$?
Anything less than $20, and you get banned.
:ninja:
I’ll try to work up some cash to donate to your server, Cam. I fucking love Minecraft, and I feel it’s worth it.
Also, you need a much faster computer than you’d think to run Minecraft. Just because it has simple visuals doesn’t mean it’s system-light.
Also how even do I join.
How does one get onto the whitelist? and acquire the Ip? Do we ask nicely?
Yeah, you can give as much/little as you like
Really? As much as you want? What if someone donates a ridiculous amount that would cause all the markets to crash and bring civilization to an end? Everyone would hold you responsible.
Meh. I would just buy out Microsoft, Google and Apple, and if there was some cash spare I would then buy a Minecraft server.
$40 bucks your way, baby!
Omega gets 500 cool points.
I think it’d be best to keep the server private until we get this new server. It’s bad enough as it is without more people to bog it down.
edit: We’re at 100$. Just 400 more to go.
Translation: Baaaaaaww I’m a poorfag who cant afford a proper computer.
