@HeadcrabeD - Deathmonkey is probably on track - a lot of people like the physical box, also if people do burn it to disc (so they wont’ have to redownload if their pc goes bust), it would look better in a box with their other games than on a spindle I guess?!
As for me I just enjoyed making the covers, chances are I won’t actually use them!
I love them both but I find the first one to be better, What I want to know is what program you used to make it. If (for some reason) it comes to a point where we have to pay for it, those would be amazing.

Pretty cool. My only gripe is the assassin’s knee covering up the word environment for some reason. I think the text should be completely visible.
First, please allow me to apologize for creating a thread for a topic I know has been discussed previously.
Second, please allow me to explain my reason for doing so - I queried the forums with: box, box art, dvd, dvd art, dvd box art, et cetera, and found not a single post. Just to make sure my search worked, I tried “gordAn” and got dozens of results.
That all said, is there still a post or links around that list the various box inserts people have created? I am aware of CatzEyes’ page (found here) but these are all relatively low-resolution pictures. Do high-resolution files still exists anywhere, or are they only accessible by, say, asking the artist? If I’m going to print a box insert, I would prefer to have a high-resolution source image to make it worthwhile.

Many thanks gugamilare. Goes to show you what difference a space makes - “box art” yields nothing while “boxart” does. I suppose it’s possible the other terms were too common to yield meaningful results, but the Search didn’t say as much. Some forums will tell you, “That search yields 4 million hits so I’m not going to show you any of them, try again!” but this just says, “No results!”

Katz has a link with LOADS of boxarts in it. I’m sure she’ll be here soon to direct you there and probably end the thread.
At the moment, I’m floating between Unhinged and Alpha’s, or I may just print multiples and swap them around haha :-).
Although, like others have mentioned, hopefully some of these outstanding ones will get updated nearer the mod’s release (for example, up-to-date system requirements, newest screenshots if any [or even ones taken once the mod has been released]).
One day I’ll actually put the Gimp installed on my system to good use

Only cuz the thumb page maker starts to wig out when they get too big. HOWEVER as long as folks keep them where they first say “OH HAi here it IS!” then you should always be able to go back and get the really uber kewl version.

I was working on one based on Unhinged’s ‘Freeman crowbarring stuff’ cover (using it as a template) But I hit a rock wall- Does anyone know what fonts he used on it? I PM’d him a while back, but he hasn’t been online since before I did.
So, what font/s did he use on the back cover?

Finally signed up for the forum.
I do really like these sleeve designs, I personally am into DTP, music and audio. I’d love to have a crack at contributing, this work is great, but what I wanna know is, May I submit a few bits to the mods, IE, sleeve designs, music ideas etc, i’d love to fit in somewhere and help out.
If this is ok, then i will get to work getting creative.
