Black Mesa has been unavailable on Steam for the last two days now, steam servers are “too busy, try again later”, and apparently this isn’t being fixed. Should I just uninstall the game or will you let people play again?
What? Black Mesa isn’t even on Steam yet. Try verifying the SDK 2007 Base cache or defraging/reinstalling it (the Base). It’s working fine for me.
This sounds like a problem with your Steam client. Maybe this link has useful information:

Yeah Black Mesa Team, why are you stopping us play black mesa!?
Well it’s launched through Steam isn’t it:retard:
Anyways I verified (no file needed replacing) and it worked again, thanks for your help.
By the way this game is incredible.
To be fair, Steam’s more of the catalyst (Desura can launch mods, too, fir instance.)
NOT on Steam yet!
Steam just opens source sdk base 07 with the argument -game “C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\BMS” in order to launch Black Mesa
Methinks it’s about time for this thread to close.
It’s always Happy Hour with Black Mesa
