Hey all, so I beat Black Mesa back in the day when it was first-ever released, and It was amazing. I haven’t visited the forums ever since the launch day years ago (an unregistered lurker 
).
Years later, I’m now I’m itching to play it again but would like a different feel to it this time around… and that feel I’m hoping to achieve is as close as the original Half-Life as possible.
Not to say that what the BM team has done isn’t great, but just for utter maximum nostalgia, I want to mod Black Mesa it so it’s almost exactly like the original Half-Life, on TOP all the shiny bells and whistles that the Black Mesa team has already made.
This means, classic sounds from enemies, weapons, buttons etc. (or a hybrid of Black Mesa and HL1 sounds), classic weapon HD models (I see a thread of someone currently doing this but not done yet), classic soundtrack (is this already out?), and/or absolutely any other classic mod that will add to the game.
Is there a list or thread of “classic” mods that are available to download? And yes, I did a search and I found a ton of one-off threads, so I’m not sure what other classic mods that may be out there, or, if there is already a compiled list that answers this.
