The muzzleflash for the RPG seems to be gone
It seems to work pretty well with the particle improvements pack.
I found a bug,he fixed the out of sprint transition of the Tau Cannon ,but broke the one of the Glock.
yup glock sprinting animation its need fixing
The glock muzzleflash is a bit messed up though, sparks flying back in your face.
I wish I could use the 357 muzzleflash for the glock, but I have no idea how the .pcf files system works
Is the muzzleflash of the MP5 in the Particles Improvement Pack always that big?
I mean the M4 already is the very big and then that Muzzleflash?
I can’t see anything.
Just pretend it’s robocop or die hard or some shit you buncha no-fixit screamers
I don’t like the sprint animations on these, it doesn’t match the footstep sounds and it looks like Gordon’s limping with the M4
Just play with autorun on, problem solved.
The M4 seems to fire after I release the mouse button to burst fire it. I hold it down for 3 seconds to fire 3 bullets, yet it fires 4 after I release the mouse button
Isn’t that how the mp5 worked?
After I downloaded this pack, I can’t hear reloading sounds. Is this because he forgot to add this or I installed it wrong ?
Yeah, you didn’t add the necessary lines to the game_sounds_manifest. This pack alters the weapon scripts to use sounds that previously didn’t exist. That’s why most of the default reloading sounds are replaced with silent duds.
So I’ll download it when it’s properly fixed…
Or someone at least could add some tutorial how to add these necessary lines.
Edit : I did it myself, but someone might still be interested.
I’ve got a script fix and it works properly. I didn’t touch game_sounds_manifest, I simply added the lines from the non-working sounds_weapons_xxx scripts into game_sounds_weapons. I’ll upload it in a minute.
Seems that if you bump up the FOV in the Glock and 357’s weapon files, the gun is far enough “out”, but the wrists are still shaped like the gun is being held 8 inches from your face.
Also, on the Shotgun, M4, and Crossbow, the…sleeve, I guess, that’s attached to the gloves clips into the actual armor on the supporting arm. Not sure if anything can be done about that.
Aside from the wonky sprint animation on the M4, and some minor complaints about the model itself that could just be described as nitpicking, I’m really liking it.
Got IIopn’s Animation Revamp Project and I thought it was really good. The only issues I have with it is that the reload sound effect cuts off the weapon sound effect when using the crossbow and the spas 12 shotgun (single shot only).
thank you
Seems he updated the files, says he added the HGUN, fixed the spas-12 sounds, etc.
