Black Mesa Animation Revamp Project(by IIopn)

Not in the revamp it isn’t.

So all the weapon (+hands) animations will be revamped, except for the hive hand?
The funny thing is I had no problem with most weapons’ in the game, but if someone can improve something, than why shouldn’t (s)he?

If you’re talking about the Hivehand not being revamped, they were having way too many problems trying to revamp it and gave up.

The rig wasn’t decompiling right or something.

It must have been the hardest weapon to do in the development of Black Mesa, but to be honest I rarely use it. Most of the other weapons are way more effective.

I used it quite a lot in BM when I wanted to conserve health. Never really in HL1 though.

Maybe that’s one reason BM took 8 years.

Look at the comment section of the final update video.
He got the 3DSMax files from the developers!

Yeah but they gave him the wrong version…

I dont like this one:

Please remove it

You know, other people also may like it.Instead of removing, how about making one with a folded stock and a unfolded.
Or just replace the model with the one from the standard BMS…

But then you don’t have the new animations anymore? :brow:

I actually really like these animations. One little quirk I have with them is, in most games, reloading a weapon is like click click. The animations and transitions are very fast, but maintain high quality. These ones are like click pull this lever load the gun click. The problem is that the animations are really good, but they are too long and glorified.

I don’t like your idea. Extended animations is what makes them cool.

What you say is stupid. Real spas 12 should have folded stock. Don’t remove it. It would suck really much.

I think he means that the stock should be extended like it is in BM’s viewmodel.

BM’s viewmodel didn’t have a stock at all.
Whatever though, that’s basically his point.

So… is this still being made? Why is he waiting for a mp5 skin? I thought he was just revamping animations

Waiting on the textures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wqlx3stLqg Check the uploader comments.

Apparently the Hivehand is back in the pack, according to the comments.
