You know what I did this christmas & new year? I went out, met some friends and family, kicked back and watched a shedload of films, had some drinks, ate too much, got some work done and didn’t check into this forum once.

ON TOPIC: Truth is, you can moan and bitch all you want. I know you’re disappointed–I am too. What can you do, though? Is complaining about it really going to help? Do you really think calling the developers lazy butt-fucks is going to help? If you were smarter, you’d be supporting and loving and caring to these developers (as cheesy as that sounds considering we’re on the internet). Insulting them and making them feel like shit isn’t going to help, what will help is a thanks that they’re doing their work with quality.

I just wanted to say thanks for posting that, Ram. It’s too bad when people need to be reminded about that (and even worse if they still don’t get it when they hear it!). Count me as one more among the supporters of BM that definitely hopes the developers are able to keep first things first and not sacrifice their normal lives for something y’all are doing with such generosity.
It is what it is, and it’s done when it’s done.
As disappointing as the delay is, I know that I can cope. In truth, I only found out about this mod early last year and only checked in recently to check on the progress. The anticipation I feel for this mod is much like the anticipation I felt when I learned that the Orange Box would be released on both PC and Xbox 360 and I knew I would get a 360 just for it; I played the Xbox version of HL2 over and over just to get my fix. Eventually the Orange Box was released and I still don’t have a 360 but I’ve managed to survive. It was only this past Christmas that I finally downloaded Steam and bought the Orange Box and the Half-life Anthology Pack so I could play through the entire Half-life universe. Now I’ll just sit and wait, playing these games over and over or finding something else to distract me, knowing that BM will be released eventually. When that day comes, I assure you that I will be giddy as a schoolgirl…

My first day back on the forum for almost a year and bad news. 
I always wanted to forget all i know about half-life and half-life 2 in order to replay it and to have a fresh experience. It’s so epic.
