without being a fan of neither, i can say without a doubt, that the beatles are the (much) better band.

they pushed the boundaries of pop music and its complexities, and influenced everything. you can still hear them in todays music.

rolling stones are just another band in matters of innovation. their intelligence lies in understanding what people wanted and giving it to them-

I can’t stand the Beatles, they were awful - though I did like Yellow Submarine. IMO their songs are only good when someone else sings them.
