BBMIP. update

Yeah, me too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Too cool! My only gripe here is the fan-sign on the top right of the door; the texture seems to be a bit blurry and low-res.

But of course! It’s that door to that freezer with the ‘hidden’ bullsquib behind those crates (can’t remember the chapter), with that little crane puzzle. I guess, at least…

It’s a 1024 texture.

Cool models!

The texture as a whole looks great, but the fan itself appears a tad blurry compared to everything else. Maybe it’s just the angle? Perspective and whatnot.

Yeah, it just feels like it’s blurry. I dunno. Maybe it’s the video card.

Most likely it’s the quality of the image, rather than the skin itself.

This forum changes the resolution/compression of the images…it is a CRISP texture. You guy’s need to chill with the nit picking.

It’s hardly nitpicking, in my opinion. It’s valid feedback that we’re offering based on what we see. We saw a fan that’s considerably blurry compared to an otherwise great, clear model & texture, which would be jarring in-game. Granted, this might not actually be the case - which was acknowledged - in which case just explain so and everyone can move on. I can understand irritation at dumb details (like that cabinet thing, or cable slack thing some threads ago), but I found this to be a perfectly reasonable observation. If you don’t want any feedback, just say so and we’ll praise your work and be done with it.

Sorry if that’s coming across as rude, hard to pick my words and get the point across without sounding as such. :retard:

Okay, let’s move on then.

Yep yep.

I just wanna make mention and give special kudos to Bard for the work on that metal plate at the bottom, it came out really nice. Something about it is pleasing.

:awesome:

Remember too that all pictures are to be considered WIP until you actually play the steam version. Things may or may not change.

I can confirm that the blurriness comes as a result of a) the image have been compressed by the forum, and b) its originally a screen-grab from Model Viewer. It looks completely fine in-game.

Understood, good sir! I retract my post with apologies.
