Bandwidth Limit Exceeded Message

Sorry about that guys. Everything’s fine now. When I originally ordered the server Black Mesa is hosted on it had limited BW so I set a BW limit for the Black Mesa website to make sure we didn’t go over. Yesterday I just ordered unmetered bandwidth on the server and we are now on that plan so I have removed the limit. Now I don’t have to worry about it going over

Update: For anyone who wants to see how much traffic BM uses, here’s a nifty graph :stuck_out_tongue:

That decrease was probably around when the BM site got “deactivated” and that huge increase was when I put it back :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry again,
Ryan Maffit

Meh, i thought the mod was being released or something =[

Man you gave me a heart attack, i thought this was a Website Update saying the Mod has been released and People are Downloading like crazy. :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope BM gets released on Thursday, or are we really gonna wait till December 31. :frowning:

I know what you mean about Bandwith Limits, we live it and theres no such thing as 24/7 Internet Connections. > :frowning:

If the mod gets released Thrusday I’d have to choose between it and L4D2, and that would tear me apart.

Isent L4D2 out Today

No, because of some sort of bug they didn’t release it yet, it was a last minute discovery, I think.

When the mod comes out, I am pretty sure they are gonna have it hosted on other servers or something because otherwise it would lag this one out… enough where it might (likely) crash.

Lol I think you gave alot of naive people a heart attack today thinking the mod was out or something…

So, moving to unmetered bandwidth… expecting lots of traffic before too long?
[COLOR=’#212121’]totally joking btw

Yay, it’s back now!

I was hoping… just hoping…

Haha, you guys are so dumb.

I had just enough time to downloaded black mesa before the bandwidth exceeded message popped up. Yay me!

How is that of any contest?

Anyway, my first thought (before I used my brain…) was that it might have been released. After that half-a-second had passed I went on ModDB to satisfy my BM withdrawal.

Oh good, we’re back on.

I was sad panda there for a bit.

Nothing in particular, there has just been a LOT more traffic lately and I’m not in the mood to pay $0.25/GB overcharge fees :stuck_out_tongue: (The server had a 1.5TB limit, as of today it’s used 1.1TB, so it was coming close)

What do you mean overcha[COLOR=‘Red’]B[COLOR=‘DarkRed’]O[COLOR=‘Red’]O[COLOR=‘DarkRed’]M[COLOR=‘Red’]!

my page had 1GB traffic per day and 10GB is the limit per month :frowning:

The thought the mod had been released did pop into my mind, but then I did some thinking and knew it wasn’t true.

At first when I saw the message I just loled, then one of my friends said that google was stuffing up for him so I was like ‘Black Mesa is released! Queue the beginning of the end of the Internet!’ But it wasn’t released.

I have 7tb per month :3

I think I’m onto something.
