Finally did up an avatar for the forums and I’m met by a massive brick wall.
I try to use the upload feature built into the forums but it renders out blurred. When I attempt to use a direct URL from PhotoBucket it shoots this message at me.
My security is set to allow temporary files from BMS.com as well as allowing 50mb in all to be used for temporary files. So I’m curious is if anyone else is having this issue to depict weather it’s me or the site.
Try linking from imageshack instead.

Maybe you should try uploading it in a different format.
Also the forum might shrink your avvy so that could be why it became blurred. :’(
The Avatar is set to 128x128 [size allowed] and the format shouldn’t matter considering it’s a .png.
The server’s having some issues today… Trying to optimize apache to handle the load, getting closer to it being more stable.
Who are you? one of the Webhost admins?

Haha ya, I’m the behind-the-scenes guy I make sure the server stays up and doesn’t explode (because if Hubi were in control of that… well, let’s not think about that scenario lmao) and do some of the site coding
We fill in each others voids since 2004. I can’t think of another guy to learn from and work with. We own each over in very way possible lmao. You guys are pretty hard to handle anyhow.

So, I managed to get my Avatar uploaded, but it makes the background of .png files white like a .jpg - Curious as to why.
If the server is resizing the image at all, it may lose the transparency.
By default, PNG stores no colour info for transparent pixels (prematted against white if you want to put it that way). Try again after putting a black background in it…
Try shrinking the image.
Speaking of Avatars (and because I couldn’t find a thread for this), do I have to earn the right to upload one or something? I can’t find anywhere to upload one, or make me-self a signature.
