I am unsure of how this all went to hell so quickly, but I sternly remind everyone that if you cant say something nice, don’t say anything at all. Lets keep this respectable and informative. Take your sharking, trolling and snide posting elsewhere so that I can ban you without perceived prejudiced.
Jew: An adherent of Judaism; A person who claims a cultural or ancestral connection to the Jewish people (see secular Jew).
A Jew can be inherently Jewish without holding Judaic beliefs.

Hebrew =/= jew.
It is nearly always the case though
More one way then the other.
*(I could only find the Twin Snakes cutscene, unfortunately. Also, 0:43 to 0:47)
Maybe you don’t, but a majority does.
EDIT: And my whole life I’ve been growing up in a Jewish background, as I’ve previously stated, so I should be as capable at answering your questions as another random practicing Jew.
(True that - only so far, you have not answered my question from the first page… - Or, is the answer to that obvious, that I should know better - which is likely?)
Brother… they are rather long, but then, I merely want to be sure that what is said is complete - (Sorry they are so long)
Apologize to the people that actually read them, I personally couldn’t care either way.
Sorry for not responding, I had a long thought-out answer written but I guess I didn’t post it.
The story of “Jona and the Wale”, as well as the book of Ruth, are both taught in Judaism. I’m not sure if its considered on the same level of importance as the 5 books of the Old Testament, but I was taught the story of Jona several times as a child and learned the story of Ruth thoroughly for my Bar Mitzvah.
Hope that answers your question.
Yes.
Thank you for that.
Personally I love the book of Jonah. I find it an interesting book because God sends him on his way, and tells him to go thoughout the city and tell them to repent - repent of your wickedness (and they truly were a very brutal culture - They would take a pregnant woman and cut her open - if it was an enemy - They were monstrous people - at least from I can remember of the backround information on the culture)
Jonah tells them that God is choked, and they are about to get owned - Stop your murder/evil etc… and they listened.
Jonah was waiting on a hill top waiting to see God kick some butt - When Jonah saw they repented, he got a pout on, becuase he thought God was going to roast them for not turning from their wickedness. Jonah actually pouted over it. God basically told him to shut it.
God says that there were several people in the city that were spared… Why be upset? God showed mercy. I find it interesting that punishment is looked at lots, but the mercy and Grace of God (according to text) is often lost.
Shrugs.
I guess people see what they focus on.
Exactly. IMO if one good thing comes out of religion, its that it develops people’s abilities to look at a subject different ways.
Religion is… facetious. Thats for sure.
I have to agree really. The sad part of it, is that some chose/are tainted by/inherit a bias against religion in general, and only tend to be able to see either the nutters that cause issues, or the things that are harsh to our veiw, but ignore the intent. Their choice. And of course, that is a two way street. There are those that choose to ignore science, or what psychology has to say, in favour of the mystical never seeming to understand there is a difference. I am rather lucky because having come from a religious backround, and then learning to understand the science veiw of things, i have come to appreciate the beauty in nature from both side.
What are your thoughts on teh book of Ruth? Romance old school style?
I love Proverbs… How about you? What passages do you like?
Nice opinion you have there.
Are you sure that you know what “facetious” means?
so whatsup with the hebrew language, why does every word sound like your trying to get snot out of your nose
What’s up with German? It’s sounds like you’ve got something in your throat. And what about scottish? Are your balls touching the floor or something? And don’t get me started on English, so many useless fucking words…
You can’t really question WHY an language sounds like something, idiot.
I’d say he does.
Maybe we should close this thread since it seems to attract the trolls.
If you have a serious question, PM me.
I dont know a single woman that prefers vanilla. Everyone I know that I have ever gotten to that conversation have all stated they cannot fathom ever being with a guy that is not circumsized.
uncircumcised penors look funny. And every girl I’ve talked to about the subject prefer it, especially for oral sex. plus, more hygienic.
