Has anyone been able to play recently? I tried last night and this morning and haven’t been able to get on.

In alot of ways it works exacltly like a social experiment. I always try to play it as if it were real, and just try to survive any way I can…

How many black mesites play this? looks like too much fun, but I just spend $ASGHIERAGFDGHI$ on a new computer and really honestly cannot afford the $30 to get this at the moment.
I’m also getting quite interrested in this, I own ARMA 2 but I don’t have Arrowhead.
I don’t understand when they say you must own ARMA2:CO, CO is basicly a bundle of those 2 games, So if I want to play it, I should only buy Arrowhead and I would be ready ?

Yeah, if you own Arma 2 you just have to buy OA. CO is mostly for people that don’t have either.
So I finally died. I had a winchester and was walking through a town with collapsed buildings. All of a sudden I hear 2 gunshots and my character is dead 
. When I started over I killed another player and became a bandit.
Apparently a few of my friends have been playing this. It sounds interesting, but since it’s multiplayer-only I would probably get bored of it very quickly.
Found ak47, broke a leg in the middle of nowhere and discovered I had no food, no morphine. Died.

first time in game, found a AK like weapon, stuff to build a car, met a person, he shot me in the head.
Also, can’t join any server at this time, everything seems to be fked up … alpha it is.
Without any kind of story or pacing I tend to get bored of games very quickly. When given the opportunity to do anything, I typically end up doing nothing.
I’m also a night person, so I’d be playing almost exclusively when everyone in my timezone is asleep. The only alternative is to play on a far away & probably laggy server.

New patch is out today, 1.5.8. They’ve fixed and added a bunch of stuff.
