Good work everyone, i think that we are making more progress.
I however do not have the tools do do any possible encrypting/decryption so could someone direct me to what we have have used so far and what we might use?
The reason i am asking this is because i have forgotten them for some reason.
If anyone can for me, i would also like anyone to direct me on how to use them.
To be honest with you, man, I started this thing off without knowing a single thing about the principles behind encryption. The extent of my knowledge was the few Cryptoquips I had done up to that point. Over these few years, I have developed a bit of knowledge about their implementations, how they’re designed, and the methods used within them to encipher data. That said, there are still little nuances about them that I don’t always remember, such as key and block lengths, and I constantly reinforce my understanding of them by visiting their appropriate wiki pages and whatnot. The only thing I can suggest is to start with simple encryption methods and break them into small, easy-to-understand chunks. This is how you will eventually come to understand straddling checkerboards, substitution, transposition, XORing, salting, etc. As for actual implements used for solving ciphers, you can use online tools (not suggested for this specific puzzle) or download a package similar to CrypTool 2. The internet is full of resources about these methods, and explaining them to you to the point that you fully understand their implications and implementations could take up a full year’s worth of classes–easily.
Heh, this is stange. I’ve recently been playing a lot of Assassin’s Creed 2 and if you know the backstory of that game then you’ll understand what I’m talking about. It’s nothing more than a coincidence but an odd one at that.
HALOS confirmed Animus 4.0, you all heard it here first folks. We’re actually fighting for a rebel cause against the Templars as one of the world’s greatest assassins, Gordon Freeman.
I have a few new random ideas about “21 goes into 1” and also “Tempus omnia revelant” phrases.
Just to note there will be screen shots of the areas and objects that i found interesting.
First of all, here is this:

42 is the answer.
I know that this is a reference to the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, but what if it is more than that?
42 is not prime, but it is divisible by 2 and when you divide 42 by 2 you get 21, interesting.
Another screenshot from QE:

“1.21GW!!”
Yes, i know that this is a reference to the movie back to the future, but it is very odd for it to be here, also very interesting.
I have already made a post about this a few pages back.
Here is a screenshot of a clock found in QE that is unlike any of the other clocks in the game:

This one is very interesting as unlike the rest, it does not move and is stuck showing a single time.
You can find this in the same area of the chapter Questionable Ethics where code B is.
This could be related to both “21 goes into 1” and “Tempus omnia revelant” and it caught my eye when i wasn’t even looking for it.
The time here could be interpreted as 09:01 AM or PM or it could also be interpreted as 09:01 or it can also be interpreted as 21:01, which is yet again interesting.
Anyway, i am just throwing out some ideas i have had well as some stuff if found in the game looking.
Well Gordon arrived at 8:37 am if I recall correctly, and these about 7 minutes later or so, so the cascade happened at about 8:45 or so. I’d assume that the 15 minute buffer would be how long it took the aliens to get there.
IRC 2 Talked about ignoring the loc data for White Sands Missile Range and that the Niobium was not buried at initial loc, but 14.16 miles east at a location just outside of HAFB and to “await further instructions”.
When we got IRC 3 it stated that they have recovered 41Nb meaning whoever it was either was outside of BMRF or escaped during the Cascade and that they know HAFB was Compromised, the transfer to “site” was complete (assuming the Terminal Page) and Project Halos is now underway.
Now once a “program” or “page” is on the internet you can access it from anywhere.
IRC 4 stated “Prime site compromised. Return BMRF, login HALOS.”
This makes me think that they had a main site for when they were going to active HALOS, but with it being on the “web” could do it from any location they require.
So Horn OR whoever is working with him, returned to BMRF.
i found something interesting. Its .vtf file for the tacos, but it is called something interesting. It is called taco uv map. The fact the name has uv in it make me think of UV light.
This suggest to me that it has something to do with UV light. Maybe it has a message in it. I am not to sure on this because i do not know if the is possible with a texture file.
I am have uploaded the file here so you all can take a look at it. Let me know if you find something. Hopefully we do find something from this. taco uv map.zip (25.9 KB)
I am so sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. Everyone should know the truth th@$ N""#@!ort*&%_()r &s m*. He *(d I $r# %h# %he @a!e person. Don’t $rust $I&.
I need to stop trying to be clever or I might find myself getting banned along with my other accounts. Final warning.
