Here’s a scan of page 428 of Grey’s Anatomy. I had the tome lying around after I purchased it and a Lovecraft collection for cheap at a book sale. I’m glad to finally get some use out of both it and my scanner, which I have come to respect after it spit out a 10200x14028 png scan. (I shrunk it down and cropped it, don’t worry.)
The problem with guessing about page numbers is that it’s a really weak lead. Books are often republished, making page numbers for one edition hardly point anywhere near where you meant for any edition besides that. Chapters or Bible verses are used far more often for exactly this reason.
This is probably useless, and please don’t bother these random people, but if someone makes an account and asks for a lead on this here we might get some serious book worms taking a gander about that. Chances are high though that it’s one of three things:
- Not a lead. It’s just background clutter.
- It’s useless without the context of another hint.
- It’s useless except in hindsight when the ARG has been solved.
