The missing tiles do resemble the arrays of pizza boxes and “thepizzaisalie” graffiti that we have never solved. As for the clicking, I haven’t been able to find the audio file for it even though it’s name is listed in hammer.
Sorry to ask this so late in the game, how can I listen to all the audio files? for instance if I wanted to listen to all of the overhead VOX announcements, is there a way?
You will need a program that can open .vpk files. I use GCFScape.
Many of the audio files are also .ogg files. Windows media player can not play oggs but VLC Media Player can.

There are two sound files being played in the room:
bms_sounds_misc_dir.vpk -> sound/bms_ambience/machine_ambience/m_ambience_comp1.wav
hl2_sounds_misc_dir.vpk -> sound/ambient/levels/labs/equipment_beep_loop1.wav
The floor tile texture is in the hl2 vpk’s (hl2_textures_dir.vpk -> materials/tile/tilefloor012b.vtf).
The problem is that it doesn’t look like the pizza boxes have been laid out in a perfect grid pattern, i.e. they don’t quite line up in rows or columns.

The alien nation pic, I spliced some of it together from the streaming screens in the game. The language of tenctonese, which is used in the alien nation show/movies the first half of the alphabet is one way, then the second half of the alphabet is the same as the first half but inverted.
I think the whole thing comes down to finding the correct byte order mark, or BOM. This creates an especially fun problem when you don’t know what the BOM is, Look at the images, now look at the link I left that refers to ENDianess. Remember that hint of this unlocks at the start of the end? the inverse numbers image, byte order switching like big endian and little endian, and there is a lot in between. I have slowly been running the 752 hex through endian convertors, its slow and painful, I don’t know how to run it as a batch, also I have been looking for BOM’s that go with different encodings, help here would be appreciated it anyone knows how to do this.
The 2015 black and white image of what looks like maybe a rabbit that is thinking of a BOMb, with the words the plan underneath it. I found the image with the dalsys name on it in a couple of locations, but not a lot, it shows a CPU speed and a Memory size, this is what led me to the endianness problem, as different cpu architectures write to memory differently I just felt it was really really odd to have the speed and memory amount shown. Going over things again, I decided to try and isolate the inner code. the 752 that we know. Discovered something, now I think its just a difficult version of leet code, we have to translate it. I put the original through an ascii85 dcoder, and kept whittling down the first part until I was left with just the start of the hex, and then did the same from the end, so that its just the section when translated, comes out as the b32b…

I don’t think its supposed to be hex at all, its just the inner portion of the ascii here, its just an uber leet speak, that will take a long time to do solo, but that’s what I believe it is, some of the words are backwards and have symbols , for instance ?man, could be representing GMAN, when pumped through leet speak translators some of it changes for the better, some for the worse,
I have also been trying to run it through Language modeling toolkits that are useful for rectifying poorly formatted text using the n-gram approach, I’ve had mixed results, I don’t know how to build libraries or how to adjust anything, I’m at the mercy of whatever completed tool I can find online, Kind of hard to find a good OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION tool, that will handle the “L337” aspect of it.
It looks like to me that this is Doctor Welsh attempting to communicate to us through edits to the wiki. HALOS is alive and has made an unlikely alliance with Welsh, but Welsh is being chased by Dr. Stone for his interference in the HALOS project. That’s my interpretation of it anyways. I’m not surprised HALOS as an AI is alive and sentient, it tried to communicate to us with Tempus Omnia Revelant though obviously it wasn’t exactly the most successful because it thinks completely differently than us and can’t easily figure out how to communicate with us.

Personally I think this is reference to Tempus Omnia Revelant. We translated it out as “Time Reveals All” when in actuality Tempus has several meanings, including most interestingly, Storm (“Storm Reveals All”). The only other could be Vox populi vox Dei which I have no idea what could be an alternative translation. I think he seriously is trying to point us towards Tempus Omnia Revelant for some reason.

Yes, I was a bit unsure about that one. First I had “I didn’t understand the Latin”, which I thought made sense since the subject needed help. But then I saw that “you didn’t understand the Latin”, “you don’t understand the Latin” and “don’t understand the Latin” also produced the same result. So I just used the version without the pronoun, and forgot to point it out.
Another thing I should mention, which is probably insignificant, the subject must have written HALOS in all lower-case letters, otherwise the “q” in “quod” would have been capitalized.
I don’t think there are alternative translations of “Vox populi vox Dei”, but the phrase can mean different things depending on how you interpret it and the context in which it is used. In relation to the ARG, I think its meanings have been clearly established after stormseeker commented on it after the phrase was discussed in the thread a while back:
