That’s why I mentioned that error404notfound’s post may have been tongue-in-cheek, for it potentially makes light of some of the other posts from new users requesting similar things. Furthermore, the name itself is cheeky if it is in reference to how many people were taking the images on the 404 pages so seriously. However, it could also be a legitimate clue.
With all things internet-based, however, we have to take into consideration that it’s simply a troll. That’s one of the hardest factors about this–we have no way of knowing if the forum and wiki information is legitimate. ?(
Could it be possible that storm or one of his “minions” is doing something similar to what JohnNotJohn did, but not a troll? Maybe him and his “minions” are trying to mislead us.
I have an idea and it is possible or it to be a very important one.
Remember Tim Evans = TV in mesa?
All lot to the TVs in black mesa in both the mod and steam release have what just looks like static…or is it?
These could be very useful to take a look at but more so this.
A lot of the static TV textures look like that so i think we should hunt down all of the static TV textures, take screenshots of them and then thy this and see if we get anything.
Twice, now. We got hung up on Code D for a while (partially because we weren’t sure that it was Code D), but we barreled through that one after about a year, if I recall correctly. With the Hex Code/File, we’re going on three years. We’ve had multiple hints throughout that time, but it just seems like a giant info-dump piled on top of what we had before. We have some methods for solving this portion that I’m pretty confident about, but the significant issue is the sheer amount of possibilities. Hundreds of different possible keywords, unknown encryption method, unknown mode for said encryption method, possible multiple encryptions–all of these things add up to one quasi-impossible problem. There are other possible puzzles that we’ve looked at (such as the numbers/text at the end of the Wiki comment) but to no avail.
This last part has been the biggest sticking point to date, which makes me think it’s our gate 2 puzzle. Gates are meant to be hard, and I definitely think this qualifies. ||

These were the only two I could find right now, ripped straight from the game files, fileneames tv_screen_on1 and postprocess_noise respectively. I still need to install Photoshop on my here, so i can’t really do it atm.
Unhelpful question:
Isn’t “Tempus omnia revelat” the proper way to say it instead of “Tempus omnia revela-n-t”. Not the best latin speaker here so just asking.
Edit: Lol if you count the spaces, the second one has 21 characters.
Possibly, as I thought that a lot if stuff we’ve discovered, like the whole hex hidden in the audio file data, were probably unrelated to the HALOS file, but rather useful down the road, but your idea also could make sense.
This is feasible with entities that we are already granted, such as the environment textures and whatnot, but nigh impossible with user-generated images. Without some standardized frame of reference for our screenshots, there’s no way for us to line up the images to form anything. However, one such solution to this is that some part of the environment needs to be aligned a specific way, and another part of the environment is our actual variable.
For instance, many times we see a “The Pizza is a LIE” message near one of the double-helix logos. It’s possible that one or the other needs to be aligned a certain way in the image (center, bottom-left, etc.) to produce an effect with the remaining variable. Unfortunately, this doesn’t take into account scaling, which is another important factor. Simply put, it’s not very feasible, and that fact alone makes it unlikely that Storm would implement it–at least for something as significant as the puzzle we’re currently tackling. I (sort of) take that back–if we made the symbols in each image the exact same size, it’s possible that a mosaic could be composed of those images. Furthermore, a coordinate system could be used to plot the locations of the variables, and then those coordinates could be constructed into an overlay map.
That said, it’s entirely possible that images in the texture files and whatnot can be manipulated in this way. I’m interested to see what error404notfound reports with his digging (cough cough).
This seems to make a lot of sense, except it’s the exact solution to Code D.
I think Storm put the clue into his site’s JS files a long time ago while we were still stumped with the secom key, and this clue has nothing to do with the halos/752 puzzle.
It’s what all those Team Fortress 2 “Meet The…” series, as well as probably what the Steam launch trailer for Black Mesa, was animated in. You can import Source maps and models to do 3d animations with.
Look up on Steam “Source Filmmaker” and it has a pack that you can get(for free) after downloading SFM(which is also free). You’ll know if the Black Mesa content is installing if on the My Games info page for it the Black Mesa box is ticked under dlc or addons. I’ll reinstall it as well when I get home.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I don’t know if you need the Black Mesa mod installed to use the SFM Black Mesa stuff.
The last modified date of the first JS file in the directory index (pl.js) is Mon, 25 Nov 2013 02:20:01 GMT.
On April 6, 2014, stormseeker posted: “I wouldn’t give you an unsolvable puzzle, just a really hard one. I even gave you a hint somewhere.” (emphasis mine) It is very possible that he was referring to the hint in the JS files.
On August 26, 2014, the comment“This unlocks at the start of the end. 21 into 1.” was posted to the BMRF.us wiki page. At that point in time, the “21 goes into 1” hint in the JS files on stormseeker’s site had not yet been found or was not publicly known.
On January 2, 2015, the JS files with the “21 goes into 1” hint was discovered and posted to the forum thread.
Last night I went through the games texture files and other files like the audio files and other stuff and did find a few static TV images as well as jet.ogg and that audio file that Nonimportantuser found in a multi-player map. I will show you them at the end of this post, but first I want to tell you guys some more information and questions, but I do agree with the user Nonimportantuser on the TV static images, as they do look very similar to what he thinks they possibly are. Either way if they are or are not related it is still worth a shot, however I do not have Adobe Photoshop so I cant analyze them for my self. So I was wondering if someone can provide us with a link to a free version of Adobe Photoshop as many forum users like Nonimportant based off their posts, appear not to have Adobe Photoshop.
Also, I would like to straighten something out with Gunsrequem, Gunsrequem, I can assure you that the random scientist quotes where a result of boredom.

Hmm, could have sworn that the 21 goes into 1 was discovered a bit earlier, sometime when the BMRF site first started changing. I was one of the ones who found it after all. It’s semantics anyways.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
