Anyone play Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

If so, you should totally download my custom story that I made for it. It’s a demo so far. Click on the picture to get at it.

[EDIT: It’s come to my attention from people who played it that it has a fairly crippling bug in the scripting at one particular area. I’ve replaced the link with v2 of the demo, with fixed bugs. It should all work well now.]

I’ll check it out

Hell yes I did and it scared the living shit out of me.

Me too …It even frightened me, when I´ve accidentally hit the door with a chair …I was playing it in the night …I know, bad idea… O_o

I keep forgetting about this game.

I mod for it, learned C++ AngelScript in a couple of days and I know everything you have to know.
It’s fun scripting, and the map editor is easy aswell.

The hard part is to be original, with the default models, unless you add custom models.

I played it for all of 7 minutes and I thought it sucked. But to be fair, I don’t think I gave it much of a chance. I mean for one I set the graphics up WAY too high so my fps sucked. I also didn’t follow the instructions and do it in a dark room with a headset on. So I think I’ll try it again, but it still didn’t scare me like I thought it would. It was just sorta creepy.

On 7 minutes you haven’t even scratched the surface, and you should prob get some serious PC upgrades if you get low framerates in Amnesia.

I think I turned anti-aliasing on, and that usually slows my computer down. I can play games like L4D2 on highest settings just fine, but if anti-aliasing is on it just screws everything up.

Well there are a lot of entities in my custom story, so if you ran Amnesia with difficulty, you won’t be able to run my story very well. If anyone wants to see the story played without actually playing it themselves (or if you’re Kaweebo up there), someone online did a Let’s Play of it here.

Still haven’t finished the main game, but will DL.
