heyo

i just saw that other portfolio topic and thought it’d also be interesting to get some feedback on mine. this environment is very technical and at the same time very creative, which is somewhat what i’d describe my interests as. so it should fit in here.

unfortunately it’s all german :S so most of you ppl here won’t understand what i say on there. but thats not very important anyway. you’ll find the media stuff at “Projekte”.

When you open the rollout bars/dropdowns for each ‘section’, the page becomes longer than the browser window and a scrollbar appears, knocking the page off-center slightly by a few px - you might want to force the scrollbar to always be visible (if you can, somehow, there are a few ways of doing that if I remember right) so that the page doesn’t shift when you expand everything.

Very nitpicky, though :slight_smile:

thanks for the replies! yeah ive been “taught” doing stuff like this. ive just achieved my bachelor degree in “media computer science”.

ill think about adding the scrollbar permanently but i dont think ill do it. i think that looks more disturbing than having the page jump a little. but thanks for the advice nonetheless!

there is still a little bug on the page. the highlighting of the main navigation doesnt always work correctly. im currently using javascript to swap the images depending on the current page. i do this because im using the same html template for every site. but it seems as if there is a problem if youre hovering it while its still loading up. which should not happen since im using the “domready” function…

if anyone knows how to properly do stuff like this, id be grateful.
