I just made my first Android app. I feel like a boss, check it out.
It’s called QuickChange, and it basically helps you keep tally of how much money you have, if you keep your loose change in a jar or a piggy bank or the likes. I support 4 different currencies, and there’s an ad-supported free version and a $1 USD ad-free version.

Pimp up those graphics. Add a physics simulation to the jar which adds your coins as you do.

Heyyyyy, okay, so:

graphics have been mildly pimped. The background of the app shows your phone’s wallpaper now, which is pretty nice (Live Wallpapers too which is extra awesome).

Also I made it so you can type in a goal and then you get a progress bar for said goal.

Still no Canadian Dollars or coin jar physics, but the former should be pretty easy to do.

I’d be happy to add kroner to the app. Would you suggest I have buttons for 50 Øre, 1 kr, 5 kr, 10 kr, and 20 kr? Would it be worth it to add a sixth button for a 50 kr note?

don’t think you need 50 kr… but don’t add it just because i asked, since i have bricked my android phone :frowning:

but 50 øre, 1 kr, 5 kr, 10 kr and 20 kr sounds just fine :smiley:

I’m working on a Live Wallpaper, kinda like a Galaxian or Galaga clone that plays itself in the background

That’d be a pretty cool app =) I’d probably dl it.

SUGGESTION, maybe make an app that can take screenshots without root, because I don’t see much use in rooting my Droid Incredible since I have Froyo.

I will definitely look into a screen capture app that doesn’t require root. I know that a lot of people are hesitant to root their phone, and other poor people named Jerry brick their phones (I’ve rooted like, 4 peoples phones for them, haven’t bricked one yet, but they would probably murder me if I did!)

if you brick your phone doing it, you probably dont deserve it.
