Alien Swarm: New Free Game from Valve

FREE GAME FROM VALVE. STOP BITCHING AND ENJOY WHAT YOU GET.

Vlalve was very busy with this project, thats why they haven’t show anything about Episode 3:retard:

Is it, though? Honestly, I’m just lost with with them. For all I know, tomorrow they may suddenly release Episode 3, surprise-release Portal 2 early, and also start the beta test for a cure for cancer.

Valve moves in mysterious ways.

How dare Valve venture outside of FPS and try something new!?

I’m actually glad to see that Valve is making a game that isn’t an FPS for once.
And, considering it’s free, it looks awesome

need some font size 72 up in this bitch

This looks far more fun than any shitty half-life or portal game

Its not even a valve game…

Yes, it is.

Valve just bought the team which made it initially for ut2k4 and now for Source, so they had nothing to do with EP3

Exactly, which makes it ridiculous for everyone to be complaining. I don’t think Valve fans will ever stop crying.

No one really complained about it taking away from EP3 in here also just in case my fps comment was sarcastic.

@Someone random Yes it is, Its being developed by people who work at Valve and published by Valve. Mod teams aren’t just kidnaped and put to work at Valve they made the choice to work there.

I wonder if it will use anything from other source games. Like sounds and stuff.

Probably the HL1 footstep sounds :stuck_out_tongue:

How DARE Valve give us a free game!!!

From what I hear, its made by Valve employees in their freetime. But I may be wrong.

That could be. But the supposed engine and SDK update makes me think there is more riding on this game that we initially thought.

It’s mentioned in the game description that it was made by modders hired by Valve…

I remember playing a demo of the ut2k4 mod - how this has changed since then.

Might be interesting enough, and its free, so why not.

btw, this alien breed:

beats the crap out of this alien breed:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
