I was bored and so I made an action scene. It’s got some Hong Kong action movies and Half-Life references. Do you like it or not? A lot of work went into this.

no recoil, shitty blood effects, some of the sounds were too high. but overall, not so bad
I like at the start when good guy #2 runs right through the first guy’s line of fire through the door.
That was damn entertaining! But what were the HL references?

When you blasted into the ceiling for no reason, I was expecting a dead guy to drop to the floor.
I don’t like the way the good guys held their guns. Should have been less tacticool and more nonchalant.

A good amatuer video, just one thing tho, take a look at FreddieW’s tuorial on muzzleflares, I take it your ones use one frame of animation? I dunno, they didn’t look too great.
Technical question: What software and/or props did you use for the blood and gunfire effects? Cool stuff.
