New Blackout, anyone? Or what can we do? Discuss

Damnit i’m pretty sure the internet is worth more and more powerful than America or any other country in this planet, it’s a free service to anyone therefore no one but the users themselves should own it.

And people love the internet more than America

motherfuckers…

Those who try to strip our freedom of internet should burn in hell.

Bunch of crying faggots (you lot, not the lobbyists).

free flow of information?

illegal

Get this!

Spotify is free to use, right? You probably also know that Spotify also finds any other media on your computer that which isn’t part of your Spotify library, right? Did you also know that the user agreement of Spotify mentions that they hold the right (and duty) to pass your information to the right instances when they suspect any user from owning pirated music?

If you have Spotify installed and have a lot of pirated songs on your HD, and all of these Big brother bills are passed, you’ll probably go to jail or pay millions and millions of dollars.

The trick is to uninstall Spotify before the end of the 6th month after installing Spotify (that’s when the truly free service ends and Spotify limits you to 10 hours playtime a month and a maximum of 5 listens to a specific song per month). If you have used Spotify for more than 6 months, you’re screwed and have to hope all of these bills never make it through.

Also, share this on Twitter and Facebook, if you get enough likes or retweets, you won’t go to jail or pay a fine.

But I like free things. :frowning:

One problem though: there is no way anyone can tell the difference between legal and illegal music. The only way to tell is by actually checking if the user has an actual physical copy, or if he’s bought it from something like iTunes.

In other words, they’ll just be gathering information about you that they really have no business gathering, and they’ll just be making wild guesses.

ACTA doesn’t apply to Norway. Ossum.

It applies to everyone.

Rather, it’ll affect everyone.

This one is getting it.

Imagine how bad’s ass the planet would become if there were no internet. Murder would be legal.
