Achievements and options not saving

Whenever I start the game, my achievements from the last session and the options I’ve set are erased. I don’t own a paid Source 2007 game, just a free version of Portal and TF2. Can someone help?

Check the write permissions of the \steamapps\sourcemods\BMS\cfg. The user you work as (i.e. your windows login) should be able to write/modify files in that dir and also in \steamapps\sourcemods\BMS\ for settings and other stuff to save properly.
As for options reseting back - make sure you don’t have “-dxlevel” laying around in your BM startup command line.
