Do not dispose in garbage - Kill the scientist hiding in the dumpster by dumping a live grenade into it

I used to do it all the time in Hl1, gibs’d pour out the bottom of it

Reading this thread makes me SO glad that the Devs didn’t make this a community project.

DO EET.

I must admit. I’m sick of it too even if I did post achievements in it. :zip:

What i dont get about the Achievements are the fact that there are no reward in the end, it was ok in the chapters and Portal, but for a massive game, it should be worth it as if you finish ep2 achievements and you get a secret EP3 trailer. :stuck_out_tongue:

I would still love Commentary Notes throughout the Game though.

“OMGWTFBM”
Open Black Mesa because it’s released

“A little of the ol’ ‘chop-chop’!”
Kill 200 enemies with the crowbar

“I am firing my laser”
Kill 50 enemies with the Gluon Gun

“King of Black Mesa”
Beat Black Mesa

Achievements are good for ppl so they play the game again and again…
Not like HL2… I will play it again when it got achies :stuck_out_tongue:

I still play HL2 even though it doesent have Achievements, but how do you reset Achievements in the Episodes when i dont even want to. :stuck_out_tongue:

I really liked the Achievements, but a reward would be nice for my efforts dont you think.

The reward is people see that you have Achivements they don’t.

THAT’s NO NEWB make it half way through the game on hard with out letting your HP drop below 90%

my soul for a shotgun
finish the game with out ever getting a shotgun (its possible I did it in HL)

hide the evidence destroy any computer or peace of lab equipment that can be destroyed in the game.

its just a flesh wound
take a tank shell in the face and live

fail at failing try and help the guard at the front desk

WTF?! how the hell do you do that?
EDIT

Crap! now I get it.

90% hp? The fall at the end of Blast Pit does more than 10% hp.

Yes, if you don’t have enough health you can quite easily die at that section.

isn’t there a latter at the end off blastpit that no one sees because they are to busy falling for know reason.

They mean when the pipe falls, I think.
I died trying to get down to the water, died trying to swim then jump onto the pipe, and died when it collapsed. Easily the most frustrating part of the game if you don’t know where you’re going.

Yeah, I’m referring to the pipe that collapses, like JeffMOD said.

Wait, what? There is actual peace in Black Mesa? Oh wait, BIG typo.

It wasn’t that bad a typo. The point still gets across.

Zigged When You Should’ve Zagged - Kill an assassin with the crossbow

Exterminator
- Squash 100 roaches

OSHA Violation - Kill a grunt with the ‘Questionable Ethics’ sterilizer

Land On Your Feet
- Survive being shot out of one of the vents in
Interloper

Flak Attack! - Shoot down an Osprey with the artillery gun in Surface Tension

Sorry. Had to add some. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sweet.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
