Achievement ideas

so this would be the third

pest control: kill x heacrabs/?

the bigger they are…: kill a gargantua

Head Hompers!: encounter a headcrab taking over a scientist

sit,stay,PLAY DEAD!: kill a houndeye

GREAT SCOTT!: save a scientist

Like a boss!: kill one of each enemy in the game

My mutual friend: meet the Gman

a dish best served cold: destroy magnussons casserole

these are what i’ve come up with so far :3

Good to know.
So now I have a related question : how many devs got their private office ?

PS : You can use one in this scale below :
all - many - few - about 7 - some have theirs in other parts of the game

over 9000?

fire in the hole - Throw 100 grenades.

I haven’t got time to die now - kill 5 enemies in less than 10 seconds with a shotgun.

grabbing pills - heal 20 times.

Is that all what you’ve got? - don’t use cheats against Nihilanth

It’s show time - use cheats to kill Nihilanth

Achievements don’t work if cheats are enabled.

unless the engine is modified… my cousin played a mod with cheats and with achievements :3

Should have an achievement like the Lambda Locator achievement for HL2. Have secret caches of ammo, health, whatnot around, then you have to find all of them throughout the game.

Off Topic but…Ram what are you doing in Newy? haha

QFT

Im not too good at making up names for achievements, maybe someone could come up with a name for that, like… “Every nook and cranny…” or something like that.

I’d rather call it “Detector”

If they were going to be indicated by lambdas, then it might as well just be called Lambda Locator. :retard:

Yeah, plus Lambda Locator has a nice ring to it.

Yeah, except… ah, never mind. The surprise will be fun for him.

sigh I guess im missing somthing here? haha

that was the name of the original achievement, hence Dias’ use of the retard emote

You guys do realize, that the lambda stashes were set up by the resistance, which in times of HL1 did not yet exist? So “survivor” would actually suffice.

alright, so what if instead the achievement was more geared towards finding all the graffiti in the game?
