The purpose of this pack is to make Black Mesa to sound more similar to Half-Life 2

Warning! Backup your sound and cfg folders if you wish to change them back later.

Installation:
Extract to: Steam Folder\steamapps\sourcemods\BMS

Config changes:
-rollangle permanently disabled
-all chapters unlocked
-autoaim disabled

Skill changes:
-increased jump height to 200
-increased crouch jump height to 200
-increased ai reaction time
-increased all ammo capacity to hl1 limits
-infinite underwater air supply

Item sounds replaced:
-ammo pickup (hl2)
-battery Pickup (hl2)
-flashlight (hl2)
-medkit pickup (hl2)
-weapon Pickup (hl2)

Player sounds replaced:
-geiger (hl2)
-jump (now same as step, as in hl2)
-land (silenced)

Weapon sounds replaced:
-357 (fire only) (hl2)
-crossbow (reload only, edited to fit the animation better)
-crowbar (miss only) (hl2)
-mine explode (hl2)
-mp5 (grenade launcher only) (hl2)
-shotgun (all sounds replaced, edited pump sound to fit bm’s faster animation) (hl2)
-weapon explosions (hl2)

Misc sounds replaced:
-general explosions (hl2)

Cheesy sound effects removed/replaced:
-corpse impact
-metal break (hl2)
-flesh hard impact (hl2)
