3D desktop replacements

I’ve recently become a sucker for 3D physically simulated desktop replacements.
The only one I’ve found is BumpTop but I’m curious as to if there are any others as I would like to compare functionality.
Any of you guys know of some?

Bumptop is the only one I’ve come across to :confused: Did it crash for you? crashed ALOT for me :rage:

There’s Spheresite… Bumptop’s too complicated to navigate unless you have a tablet PC, which I don’t have.

Nope. Crashed a few times but that was due to me pushing it too hard.

Maybe it was because I was using a beta version of W7, maybe it wasn’t completely supported. I’m giving it another go now :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: Okay, I tried it again. Nice, but not necessary in my eyes.

Not really 3d desktop, but Stardock’s “DeskScapes” lets you set particle simulations as your desktop wallpaper :awesome:
