2fort map.... IN HL2DM! (unfinished)

Do you have a leak in your map? If not, change the water texture and see if it helps.

Also make sure VIS is running when you compile your map.
If it’s set to run, check the BSP part of the compile log to see if there’s a leak, if there is load the pointfile for the map and it should point to the leak.

Yeah I had like 4 leaks in my map, and they’re all taken care of. I’ll post pictures of my water later, but for right now, I’ll be working on making my walls the right size and such >.<

I just told him to edit the vertices to make them corners. :smiley:

I told him to make a 45 degree clip at the end of the pipe, and dupe it, then slot it together.

And yes, I told him to use arch.

Looking good! I have no idea where the fuck those sewer places are supposed to be located but I’m liking your work so far! Though the battlements aren’t really as sexy as you think they are… :wink:

Yes, the map’s a little roomier than ye olde days…but it should work fine how the recent pages have shown.

Next thing I’m going to work on is the lights and the weapons, I dont know if i should make the map more realistic or not, but if i will, then I’ll work on that as well.

Best of luck with weapon placement, that’s always the most intriguing part of turning a TF map into a HLDM one.

Why would you think it’s the sewers in the Hunted, and as for the weapon placements, I already thought of two weapons so far, I’m not going to say which, but I’m open to suggestions

TFC’s 2Fort doesn’t have any literal “sewers”, nor do any default levels except Hunted, and I’m… “famous” around here for my TFC>TF2 bias.

Oic, but this map is for the tf2’s 2fort, TFC’s 2fort consisted of rectangular tunnels underwater iirc, and you should play FF with me sometime >.> <.<

Not gonna mean to blow ur buzz, but… You can vmex’ the original 2fort map, put it in hl2:dm in source sdk, and replace it with the textures and models that are from hl2:dm.
