Align the textures on the wall to the left
Fuck no! It’s time spent for no gain. It’s not like he’s going to left the map orange, so he will have to retexture and add details to it later. That’s the time to make sure the textures are aligned.
Or you can align them now and chances are any texture you put on the wall will be aligned aswell.
I wouldn’t think so.
P.S: I’m making my walls smaller so they won’t look ridiculously huge. This means a lot of renovating.

Not bad for CTF, some pretty good CTF maps for HL2DM.
Well, I’m not doing it for other people, I’m just doing it for the heck of it. Although, if people want, they COULD use it for hl2dm
Not sure I follow, that map I linked is for HL2DM and your original post talks of a 2fort map for HL2DM.

Also, the point of orange mapping isn’t just slapping the orange dev textures on walls, it’s so your textures all align and so that that your brushwork is the right size.
^ This. Also if you end up using tile textures or brickwork where you want the borders of the tiles to match up with the walls, keep the wall’s edges on the highlighted white lines in the grid, the ones that really stick out.
But that’s going to take a LOOOOOOONG time to fix… D:

EDIT: About the water, I did it correctly in Hammer, but in-game, it doesn’t show, any suggestions?
