Apparently, Pink Floyd made Ummagumma, Meddle and Atom Heart Mother in a way that they could play during the entire movie and fit perfectly. Here is how it should be:
"Start the sync right at the beginning of the film’s Overture. Play the songs in the exact order listed below until the end of the movie. Some versions of the movie, such as the DVD version, have an Intermission in them. If it does, pause the music during the Intermission. (On the DVD version, the word Intermission appears on the screen for a short time, then the screen goes blank. Resume the music at this moment because the actual movie has restarted. On the VHS version, there is no Intermission, so there is no need to pause the music.) “Entr’ acte” appears on the screen in some versions just before the next scene. Music is playing in the movie at this time.
