18+ Games?

Woah, you’re getting an 18+ game when you’re 17!? Are you nuts!? The e-police will be up your ass faster than a strap-on dildo bathed in Canola oil!

Naw, just kidding. But still, purchasing a game when you’re too young? Way to fight the system, man! You’re cool in my book!:retard:

wanna know something funny, the steam Account I use used to be my dad’s (the only game I’ve got on there that IS as a matter of fact HIS, is Half-life 2) and most, if not all have been bought/obtained by yours truly.

its all cool anyway, im 18 on the 15th of this month and have been drinking down my local pub for a while. i told the barmaid i was under 18 and she asked me what would i like, my first reaction looked somewhat like this :jizz: i replied Magners, with a

THAT IS FUCKING HILARIOUS

Hi, I went along and preordered Modern Warfare 2 from game online, all went fine UNTIL I received an E-Mail claiming my card was denied! :’(

Turns out I didn’t have enough money on my card (Don’t laugh, bought a lot recently) and I am 3 years under age, cant believe its an 18 when World at War was a 15! :[ (Well in UK anyway!)

Oh well, hope the same doesn’t happen to you!

give the kid a break. :freeman:

Double post i know, my thread, dont like it fuck off. :fffuuu:

Ive already pre-ordered my MW2 console it was fine, switched my my card to a parents card that went alright, im just waiting to be charged, which i cant wait for.

I ordered the Hardened edition from Amazon. :retard:

and his post has What to do with purchasing games under the age suggested in the game rating?

Nobody that works in a games store gives a damn what age you are, let alone on the internet.

The most the internet does is ask for age confirmation, and that is sooooo easily fooled. Just say you were born in 1937 or something. :stuck_out_tongue:

They should have an age where your too old to play a game. Like if you choose that you were born on 1900 or something a pop-up will come up saying

Not true.

ESRB has the AO rating that is 18+, and the games aren’t sold in stores.

It’s not that they aren’t allowed to be sold in stores, it’s an issue of those games having nudity/porn in them, which is why many stores would prefer not to have them, because they can easily get in the hands of a minor.

To be honest, I’d prefer my kids to see a pair of knockers before I have them see blood spurting from throats of innocent people.

And most games that are rated AO aren’t well-known, either. So it’s really kind of pointless for them to carry it if no one’s going to buy it.

The only AO-rated game I can think of that’s fairly popular is Manhunt 2.

it was re-submitted and now it’s M.

I’m 14 and I walked into a Game Stop and bought CSS and L4D about 3 months ago and they didn’t ID me… I don’t think they care anymore.

There are two versions, an M version, and an AO version.

At least, there were. But I’m almost positive you can order the AO version somewhere online.

Yeah, a sony employee leaked the AO version and got fired. At least according to wikipedia :fffuuu:

damn man, i bought a 18+ games when i was 14(two year ago)

All you rebels are awesome.
