A ) you can’t compare the development times of a game that was created more than ten years ago with one that’s being developed right now.
texture resolution, physics, AI interactions; everything is far more complex and detailed than it was back in the 90’s, and as such, takes a lot longer to make.
B ) the black mesa devs are doing this mod in their SPARE TIME; the hl devs were NOT, it was their job, for fuck’s sake.

The truth: The mod will not be out within the next two years. We’ve got quite a bit more waiting.
However, I do predict that it will PROBABLY be out within the next six! So I think you guys misunderstood Medevilae when he said that you were all faggots; he was simply trying to imply that he didn’t want to wait two years or more. Honestly, I kind of agree with him, but we’ve already proved that it wont be released sooner if we ask for it.
