Your Favourite BM Media?

Not it’s not. Unless you get me a direct quote from Marc Laidlaw proving that this room is supposed to be the AM Labs’ lobby, that is.

I mean, just because the furnitures are placed in a somewhat similar way doesn’t mean they’re both the same, does it?

not to mention that wacky ceiling

Like I said, distorted G-man version of it. But if you can’t see that it’s supposed to be showing you the same room you’re either blind or mentally deficient.

Edit: here again are the comparison screenshots I posted in another thread:

Edit Edit: Oh, but to clarify, I feel this has no baring on Black Mesa as it is a distorted vision and thus not reality and thus doesn’t matter.

Or I’m just not autistic and don’t live in my world where everything is a representation of the AM labs.

Now you’re just a helluva chap!

I posted before you edited.

Ah, hadn’t noticed. I retract my dodging statement.

yeah, i thought it was obvious it is the same room
one thing i don’t get is after this, where it shows combines fighting rebels in a corridor, which looks like black mesa, was it suppose to be black mesa?

No, that was a clip from the video with Dr. Judith Mossman, which was shot in… the north pole? Anyway, wherever the Borealis is.

Yeah, it’s the north atlantic I think. In the end does it matter. We know what the lobby looks like. It’s not going to change. So that’s that. No point in argueing about it.

Nobody was arguing that it should change. Except for Mr. Someguy, but that was a few pages back.

Arguing what should change?

I think the only thing you can say with any certainly is that the room in the G-Man vision is supposed to remind you of the AM lobby, or else why lay it out so similarly?

But at the end of the day it’s just a simple visual cue from him to remind you of Black Mesa while he talks about it, there’s no reason to get in any way bothered by it.

Not to mention… It has no lighting fixtures anyway

Frankly, the art direction in HL2 was completely different and unfitting for Half-Life 1. I’m in full support of the BM version of the lobby room.

Well, how could g-man un-nuke the facility? :stuck_out_tongue: either that or it’s a halucination.
or both.

don’t be bitchin’ that ‘ZOMG NUKE WAS OPFOR THAT’S NOT CANON’ … Laidlaw said it was :what:
/rant

It’s probably actually his office- It changes itself to reflect the world and memories of whoever views it. Or something like that.
Or it’s a mind game.

Favorite media because it gives me the lulz

Pfft, Gman is all about Mind Games.

Psht, you wish you were that good. :stuck_out_tongue:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
