Yes, I would. The correct usage is “Microsoft is,” since wer’re talking about a single entity (Microsoft).
It’s the same as saying “The army is.” Just because it’s comprised of more than one person doesn’t allow you to say “The army are.” If you’re talking about more than one armies, though, it does change to “are”.
