That describes Tool’s newest album (which I just got, which is why I’m posting this) perfectly, except replace every track except two of them with ‘Brutal 10 minute Genre Experiment’ and put those 2 ‘great songs’ in there somewhere. :fffuuu:

i know but its still their latest. Tool is a new love for me, like within the last month.
They have only had a handful of good songs since Aenema (or however the hell it was spelled).

I must be an oddball, because I love The Pot and Vicarious, and the ambient sounds of Intension and Lost Keys get my mapping imagination juices pumping like none other.
Parabola is the only one in the last ten years that I truly love.
