Anyone know if these are gonna be like the original bugs?

What about adding an “alternate fire” mechanism to them? Like instead of all running around randomly, they could all home in on one target (whoever reached their target first) and gather passively until they are on the same person, then do their thing.

Maybe have them use EMP as an optional det. Or have them produce a “drunk” effect like the old tranquilizer darts used by TFC spy’s.

I remember in the HL1: Source remake they added antennae to the original models but their behavior was about the same.

Well, I’m partial to using diplomacy from time to time, but that was indeed the thought behind the words.

As for changing or rather adding a function to the Snarks, I really don’t see the point in doing that, they were really way more effective as a distraction measure than an actual way to defeat enemies. I enjoyed them as the chaotic creatures that they were.

Nonsense, they were the best soldier killers available! However they were a bit too efficient and usually killed all the enemies around before turning on you.

True enough, I was going on my own personal play experience in that I found them to be wasted on the soldiers. I much preferred distracting the Alien Grunts with the Snarks, particularly if I was low on crossbow or magnum ammo.

Snarks are only usefull when thrown by packs but it would be awesome if they could take care of snipers or blackops. Even to lure a garg for a bit could be more usefull.
BTW does anyone has a better idea to make snarks nests at the begining of Lambda complex more suptil and deadly than in HL1 ? It was ugly and ineffective
