So I’m liking songs from Pendulum and songs like The Distance - Cake. Anyone have any suggestions similar to those type of songs?

The entire Cake discography.

The cries of the little kids I slaughter ruthlessly.

Soul Coughing and The Eels might be something you are looking for. But that could be my twisted sense of reality

Those aren’t really songs I’d workout to

Don’t know what you’re in to but this kind of metal always gets my blood pumping

This.
And this for running.
Oh, and this.
Don’t know why these in particular, they work for me.

Not a huge fan of metal, but it’s intense, I just don’t like it.

Those are good, but I don’t think I would work out to them…

Anyone know any songs similar to Skillet’s?

I like it, might get it, but I wouldn’t work out to this. How can you work out to slow songs?

It’s possible to work out to slow songs if you match part of its rhythm. Speed is less important than the fact it’s a steady tempo. ((Faster songs tend to work well because any rhythm you take accidentally lines up with a beat, aaand their content might be more exciting…))

The Edmund Fitzgerald has a nice little “one-two-three-four-five-six” beat happening every two seconds, which is actually joggable. I’m actually impressed by its suitability for physical exertion.
