I just noticed that a bunch of these threads are about changes to the wiki, rather than problems with it.

Isn’t that what wiki talk pages are for?

Yeah, I think part of it is that people don’t want to edit wiki pages in case they “do something wrong”, so they stick with giving feedback about it here on the forums.
