actually this is he best compilation by the Beastie Boys though technically it should be considered a whole original album. they do an awesome job with the jazz-fusion style and its great to hear them do a fully instrumental album they are some crazy guys I’m amazing they started as a Hardcore-Punk band
Oh I’ll check this out. Also that’s why I love the Beastie Boys: they started as a Punk band and you can hear some influences from this in their songs. So while they rap, they add some very good guitar riffs and make it sound awesome. I think one of the best example for this, if not the best example, is Sabotage.
Beastie Boys - Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science - Sure Shot
and if you like that then I’d suggest getting The Mix-Up their 2007 album which was a fully instrumental one as well, its excellent.
Beastie Boys - The Mix-Up - The Rat Cage
also Damn you Imonfire just when I thought I was pulled out of the Beastie Boys obsession you make me break out my old cds and give them another listen but oh well it never hurts
After looking at this forum since what seems like the beginning, I’ve finally made an account.
