Because anyone can play fast if they practice enough. They can’t play any of their stuff live. The only reason they can in the studio is they can play something as many times as it takes to get it right. I actually find them terribly boring.

Dragonforce, uhh. Apart from being very boring (just a chain of random scales, played very fast, with no emotion and total disregard of melody), they’re extremely shit live as well. I’ve seen them on Graspop a few years ago, it was the worst thing I’ve heard live to date. Funny enough, they now blame the sound-techs, while the other mainstage bands sounded just fine that day.

Also, Herman Li is a massive tool.
