What are you listening to v3

I would hate listening to only one genre. Variety ftw.

Jimi Hendrix - Jimi Hendrix (Disc 1)

Nothingface - Perfect Person

Hey I listen to Electronica, Metal (Screamo, Hardcore etc…), Old Rock (Pink Floyd, CCR, Jimi, The Doors etc…) and a bit of Rap (Gorillaz and Beastie Boys only).

As I Lay Dying - An Ocean Between Us - An Ocean Between Us

I listen to almost everything but my favourite genre’s are Progressive rock/metal, Fusion Jazz, math rock, Lo-Fi, and indie rock

Emerson, Lake, And Palmer
- Black Moon - Romeo & Juliet
SOUTAISEIRIRON - Hi-Fi Anatomia - JIGOKUSENSEI
Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives - Second and Eighteen - Hey
Anois - Tree House Whispers - Waltz Of Wolves
The White Stripes - White Blood Cells - Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground

The White Stripes aren’t quite so indie anymore but they still kept the style so they are still indie rock in my book.

I also would die without variety.

The Who – 5:15
.

Wrong, it seems awesome

Lamb Of God - Set To Fail

I ain’t saying the music is bad, I’m saying that it’s just very single-minded. A little variety never hurt anyone.

Let’s see…
I listen to reggae, dub, jungle, drum & bass, breakcore, blues, jazz, rock (almost any kind), hip hop, rap, electro, etc.
and any combination or variation thereof.

Van Halen - Van Halen (Side 1) - Runnin’ With The Devil

Plenty of variety in metal.

Diecast - Day of Reckoning
The Haunted - Tresspass

Those two songs are both metal, and yet they don’t sound anything like each other, or Morbid Angel, or Nothingface, or Zimmer’s Hole, or Dragonforce, or Megadeth, and none of those other bands sound the same as each other either, so I am completely content in keeping my listening very similar.

Unless I am listening to Weird Al, Simon and Garfunkel, Def Lepard, Depech Mode, or something else that isn’t metal that pops up from time to time.

Alright, something not-metal, but still ingenious:

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Legend - Could You Be Loved

Nirvana - Moist Vagina

There’s still a limited variety when keeping to one genre, though.

Extremely limited, in comparison. I mean, you could say listening only to two songs has variety because they are completely different songs, but there still wouldn’t be any meaningful variety there.

Celtic Frost - A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh
Primordial - Gallows Hymn

Carnal Forge - Deathblow
Nothingface - Patricide (skipping, their worst song ever)
Scar Symmetry - The Kaleidoscopic God

Kaleb - Dusty Blinds

D’n’B with a nice retro game tune to it nearly. Atleast that’s what it reminds me off.

Exactly, Soup.

Roxy Music - Country Life (Side 1) - Out Of The Blue

Scooter - Fuck The Millenium

Cheap Techno FTL. Unfortunately I got it stuck in my head so I have to listen to it.

An old GFW Radio podcast.
