‘Let the Right One In’. Very good.
The Road. One of the best acted movies I’ve seen in a very long time.
Just finished watching Bullitt and about to start Vanishing Point… having a bit of a car chase thing atm
I’m about to watch: Shooter.
I know this is a stupid complaint, but the subtitles in the theatrical release were so much better than the ones on the DVD release it’s almost embarrassing. I don’t know why they decided to change it from ‘good writing’ to ‘bad english fansubs’
Probably going to rewatch Throne of Blood soon since we just read Macbeth at school. Feel like watching The Seventh Seal again too for some reason too.
High five. I don’t, however, recommend the Macbeth movie from the 70s. There are some disturbing bits…
Yeah, I was going to watch the one from the 40s with Orson Wells. How’s that one? And of course Throne of Blood but I’ve already seen it before I read Macbeth.
Have I mentioned that I love The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension? I love that movie.
I took my lil brother to fantastic mr fox on boxing day and i loved it but i think all of the kids in the cinema hated it so good job making a kids movie wes anderson
One of my favorites. Watched it the other day actually.
I would say second favorite, right behind Aliens.
I watched a version of it with fansubs - so I think it was as accurate as possible. Didn’t dent my enjoyment of it, so they must have been right. I think.
I also recently watched Watchmen: Ultimate Cut. Definitely the best version to watch if you have 3 and a half hours to spare.
On Christmas Eve I went to see “A Christmas Carol” with the family.
Very well directed and great CGI.
I also beat Metal Gear Solid 4 (which some people consider a movie for some god damn reason.)
Shit. What’s added to the film that wasn’t in the Director’s Cut?
A few little bits here and there, but the biggest part is the introduction of Tales of the Black Freighter, spattered within the actual narrative of the film. Surprisingly, it works quite well.
i viewed a movie called The Seventh Seal it was qite good
Went to the cinema a few days ago, saw A Serious Man, quite funny, though the ending is “what?”
Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone. MGS4 has gameplay to beat?! :fffuuu:
I thought that was the version that I bought originally, and was quite upset to find out (just now ) that I have to buy it again.
Seriously, this isn’t funny anymore. It was cute a few years ago, but now it just makes you sound like a retard.
Oh look who’s talking.
