Anyway, as Sersoft was kind to point out in the “Post Your 'Puter” thread, my new Compaq was a piece of shit.

A piece of shit whose BIOS chip fried a week after I got it.

So I’m now computer-less until… hell if I know. Soon, so I’ll be on periodically.

I’m sure you’ll all miss me.

you really reckon they show these things as anything more than a modern day sideshow

Maybe in some cases, yes. But

A. I’ve seen a very similar one aired on the BBC, and it was informative and interesting, and
B. I resent the use of the term ‘freak’

Nice arguement. You’re allowed to be offensive, because you’re not the one with it. Again, I point you out as the kind of person we all want to be :hmph:
You call someone with a disability a freak, and try and defend yourself, despitethe fact it’s widely held as being kind of offensive.

For real tho, i wasnt calling big head guy a freak i was comparing these discovery programs freakshows beacause they are the same idea as old timey freakshows disguised with some half arsed education stuff. if there was any science to learn fro mthe tree hand guy it dried up like 3 programs ago

A fair point, I just dislike the term.
