My windows partition recently had about 600GB of free space.

Due to accidental format and erased MBR.

It’s a 40gb hdd to begin with, and I have a 15 gig windows partition, a swap partition, and the rest is my linux partition.

last time I tried to install linux I forgot to back up windows and the partitioning messed up and deleted windows entirely. not doing that again.
